It was an all fun, yet exciting field trip to Perak for EXIM Bank Malaysia. We had the opportunity to connect with nature, engage in hands-on sustainability activities, and learn about radical regeneration from the amazing team at SEAD Bamboo.
From a bamboo planting session at Centre of Resilience Ecosystems (CoRE), Kinta Nature Park to insightful discussions on bamboo’s role in a regenerative economy, every moment was enriching. In addition, a tour of Teja Luna is something we immensely enjoyed, where we explored the natural dry cave and participated in a sharing session by SEAD Bamboo’s Founder and Executive Director, Lucas Loo, on accelerating a regenerative economy with bamboo.
A big thank you to SEAD for their warm hospitality and to all EXIM Sustainability Leads (ESLs), who joined us on this journey. We returned with new knowledge, inspiration and a strengthened commitment to sustainability.
Let’s continue to make a positive impact on our environment together!
