For the year 2019, EXIM Bank has drawn up a whole variety of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes in order to provide substantial assistance to various social groups that are in need of assistance.
Within the first quarter of the year, Rumah Seri Kenangan Cheng Melaka (RSKCM), a welfare home for the elderly, and Yayasan Toh Puan Zurina (YTPZ) that runs a haemodialysis centre for the underprivileged, have been identified to be recipients of the Bank’s cash and in-kind contribution to help ease their operational cost. Both centres are situated in Melaka.
Rumah Seri Kenangan Cheng Melaka has been taking care of the elderly since 1982 through the public and government donations. Currently, the centre accommodates 159 old folks from different ethnics and background.
