In a bold step toward sustainability, EXIM Bank Malaysia has successful launched its “Green Innovation” project, transforming the terrace on its second floor into a vibrant Urban Hydroponic Yard. Since August 2024, over 380 pots of mustard greens and pak choy have flourished under the tender care of our dedicated staff, symbolising each division and department within the Bank.
After nearly three months of nurturing, the harvest is ready. We’re donating the fresh produce to Pertubuhan Kebajikan Asnaf Al Barakh Malaysia, reflecting our commitment to environmental stewardship and community support. Alongside the vegetable donation, EXIM Bank is contributing RM16,450 to further aid the children under their care.
This initiative is part of EXIM Bank’s broader sustainability efforts, including our Global Green Initiative to support businesses with RM1.5 billion for green financing solutions. We’re planting the seeds of a greener and sustainable future.
