In conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan, Export-Import Bank of Malaysia Berhad (EXIM Bank), its staff and together with The Star Media Group had jointly organized a visit to the old folk’s home of Pusat Jagaan Al-Fikrah in Kajang, Selangor to breakfast with the centre’s senior citizens and members of the surrounding area.

EXIM Bank contributed cash and in-kind to help assist in the upkeep of the centre. Two dryers were also presented during the event which was much needed by the home. Bed sheets, pillow cases and towels were also distributed for their daily usage.

Al-Fikrah’s upkeep relies on donations from various organizations and kind-hearted individuals to ensure the care of the senior citizens housed at the Centre. Apart from the charity that they receive, the residents also make the effort to do farming in support of the centre’s financial needs.
