KUALA LUMPUR, <\/strong>17 February 2025 \u2013\u00a0Export-Import Bank of Malaysia Berhad (EXIM Bank), is pleased to announce the appointment of Cik Nurbayu Kasim Chang as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank.<\/p>

\u201cCik Nurbayu brings with her a wealth of experience, especially in corporate banking, Islamic finance, and development finance, which puts her in great stead to drive the business and bring positive outcomes for the Bank,\u201d said Dato\u2019 Charon bin Mokhzani, Chairman of EXIM Bank.\u00a0<\/p>

Nurbayu joined EXIM Bank in January 2023 as the Chief Business Officer and became the Acting President and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank in February 2024. Prior to EXIM Bank, Nurbayu\u2019s experience includes various leadership and management roles at SME Bank where her last position was as the Chief Business Officer. Apart from that, she also held several leadership positions at CIMB Bank.<\/p>

Nurbayu completed her ACCA in 1999 from the Dublin Business School, Ireland. She is a certified Credit Professional Chartered Banker and has a Certification in Islamic Development Banking.<\/p>

Having steered the Bank to significant achievements in 2024, Nurbayu\u2019s continued leadership will elevate EXIM Bank to even greater heights, solidifying its position as a leading Development Financial Institution in cross-border financing, trade takaful, insurance, and export advisory services in Malaysia.<\/p>
