The Malaysia–Uzbekistan Business Forum, held on 5 February 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, marked a pivotal step in advancing bilateral trade and investment between the two nations. The high-profile event was officiated by H.E. Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of Uzbekistan, and YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia.

With participation from over 300 representatives of top Malaysian and Uzbek companies, financial institutions, and government agencies, the forum provided a dynamic platform to explore strategic collaborations across key sectors—including infrastructure, halal trade, Islamic finance, agriculture, and digital economy.
