and ICBC Malaysia have
inked a memorandum of
understanding (MOU) to
jointly promote the use
of the Chinese yuan as
a trade and investment
settlement currency
between Malaysia and
China.

EXIM Bank inaugural Sustainability Forum

The Bank unveiled an RM1.5 billion Green
initiative for sustainable financing by 2027.
The initiative includes three core programmes
to help businesses meet global sustainability
standards and build climate resilience,
focusing on micro, small and medium
enterprises (MSMEs) in the export sector.
Investment, Trade and Industry Minister
YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul
Tengku Abdul Aziz, launched the initiative
which aligns with the third mission of the
New Industrial Master Plan (NIMP) 2030 —
‘Push for Net Zero’.
