Everyone deserves to celebrate the joy of Ramadan and Raya and along that vein, Export-Import Bank of Malaysia Berhad (EXIM Bank) continues to be socially conscious and contributed cash and kind, in the form of packed food for Iftar at the Rumah Titian Kaseh, Titiwangsa, Kuala Lumpur. This home was established in 1998 and has a total of 100 residents, who are mostly children, single mothers, handicapped (OKU) and senior citizens.
With escalating cost of living made worse by the pandemic, Titian Kasih which depends solely on donations from the government, private sectors, and NGOs for its livelihood is even more hard pressed. Most of the time, the donations they receive are insufficient to cover the home’s expenses.
As EXIM Bank is always conscious on making a sustainable difference to the community, we offer our support to these unfortunate folks as they deserve some support and care, especially during Ramadan, the most anticipated month of the year for all.
